Unimicron, Unitech to Supply RIM with Blackberry PCBs

TAIWAN - Unimicron and Unitech will reportedly supply Canadian smart phone maker Research in Motion (RIM) with PCBs for its 3G Blackberry 9000, also called the Blackberry Bold, a product scheduled for release in June.

Other mobile phone PCB makers are reportedly seeing stronger orders for the third quarter. Industry reports indicate that PCB shipments will continue to increase into the second half of 2008.
