NI Releases LabVIEW Community Edition Software

LabVIEW Community Edition and LabVIEW NXG Community Edition are for use on personal projects.

Free for most noncommercial uses, they offer same features as professional version of systems engineering software. Include updated version of LINX toolkit to help engineering hobbyists interface and/or deploy applications to Arduino, Raspberry Pi and BeagleBoards. Replace LabVIEW for secondary schools. LabVIEW NXG Community Edition includes LabVIEW NXG Web Module to help users with little to no web development skills create web applications. Can create applications that run in a web browser without additional software. SystemLink Cloud evaluation is provided for hosting and sharing web applications. Include intuitive graphical programming language; extensive IP libraries; wide-ranging hardware connectivity.
