AltiumLive now includes component libraries for board-level designs using Maxim Integrated devices. The release delivers board-level component models and supply chain information, such as real-time price and availability data from distributors. A component model includes schematic symbol, PCB footprint and a 3D model for 3D mechanical integration during the PCB design process. More than 3,000 new Maxim components have been released; the catalog includes more than 5,500 devices. Featured components include digital potentiometers; sensors; current-sense amplifiers, and switched capacitor filters. Total number of components available is more than 125,000.

FAB 3000 v. 6.7.1 software includes customized commands; users can view and optimize commands. Shortcut commands have been updated. Has improved DFM checks, ODB++ import and DXF import.

Opaque black polyimide tapes come in ESD-safe and halogen-free flame retardant options. Single- and double-coated tapes are designed for masking and bonding applications involving light-sensitive devices that need to withstand high temperatures and harsh environments typical of PCB manufacturing. Constructions are available with 0.5, 1 and 2 mil polyimide films, acrylic and silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives and semi- and matte-gloss levels. Custom 0.5 mil matte black polyimide is also available. Are REACH and RoHS compliant; offer high dielectric strengths for electrical insulation and surface resistances of >10^4 Ohms. Provide thermal protection up to 300°C and peel voltage of <100V.
