TOKYO Japanese PCB fabricators' sales fell 6.9% year-over-year in the first half of 2019 to 219.79 billion yen ($2.06 billion). Sales of flex circuits fell 28.7% from a year ago, said the Japan Electronics Packaging Circuits Association (JPCA).

Unit production fell 12% year-over-year over the same period, led by a 31% decline in flex circuits.

June sales fell 5.7% sequentially to JPY38.91 billion. It was the sixth straight month sales declined.
