Compeq to Site Next Plant in Chongquing

CHONGQING, CHINA -- Compeq will invest $45 million in a new printed circuit board manufacturing plant in this Southwestern China city next year, according to published reports.

 

 

Initial production is expected to begin in late 2012, and volume production is planned for 2013. Compeq also has factories in Taiwan, Guangdong and Jiangsu.

Compeq was the 20th largest PCB fabricator in 2010, according to Dr. Hayao Nakahara of NT Information, and among Taiwan's largest producers of HDI boards.
