WILMINGTON, DE – DuPont is reportedly discussing with advisers the possible sale of its electronics business.

At the end of the third quarter, the electronics and imaging unit represented the company’s smallest business by revenue.

Revenue for the business fell in the first three fiscal quarters of 2019, as a result of trade uncertainties.

DuPont is reportedly considering a Reverse Morris Trust deal that would let the company avoid a large tax bill by merging the business unit with another company.
