MELVILLE, NY – Park Electrochemical’s CEO will voluntarily forgo more than $100,000 in his annual salary – 30% of the total – in the fiscal year starting Feb. 26, according to published reports.

Brian Shore’s salary will be cut from $357,760 to $250,000 for fiscal 2019. According to a 2018 SEC filing, no other executives are expected to take pay cuts.

Shore also took a voluntary salary cut in November 2014, when employees in Fullerton, CA , and Tempe, AZ, were forced to reduce hours in response to a weak market for printed circuit materials.

The disclosure comes on the heels of news that Park Electrochemical is considering the sale of its core business of printed circuit materials.
