ATLANTA, GA – UP Media Group today rolled out the conference program for the annual PCB West 2014. This year’s conference is the largest yet, featuring more than 60 presentations, half-day workshops and full-day tutorials, plus the complete IPC Designers Council Basic and Advanced Designer Certification classes.

PCB West 2014 will be held September 9-11, 2014, in Santa Clara, CA. The event includes a three-day technical conference and one-day exhibition, featuring more than 80 leading companies, to be held at the Santa Clara (CA) Convention Center.

Hot topics this year include talks on RF and microwave design, 3D ICs, high-speed design, EMI shielding, and more from leading companies such as L-3, Raytheon, Flextronics, AT&S and MFLEX.

Back this year is the hugely popular Free Wednesday, a full day of classes on insertion loss, multi-board design, common design errors and more. These sessions are free to all exhibition and conference registrants.

EPTAC will deliver the IPC Designers Council Basic and Advanced Designer Certification classes, a pair of 2.5 day tutorials aimed at raising the profile of printed circuit board designers.

PCB West annually provides a conference and exhibition focused on the design and manufacture of PCBs, HDI, electronics assembly and circuit board test. The September 2013 event attracted more than 2,500 registrants and nearly 1,700 attendees for the actual event.

PCD&F and CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY magazines are media partners for the event.
