ETCO Incorporated has introduced a line of flex circuit connectors designed for attaching lead wires to flexible circuits and laminates used in space-constrained or dynamic applications. Engineered with lances that embed into aluminum- or copper-foil and film laminates and terminate to lead wires using an F-crimp. They are intended for flex circuits that bend, fold or move during operation in consumer, medical, aerospace, and military electronics. ETCO offers two standard series: the TFC Series for thin films measuring 0.010 to 0.025 inches with 18–22 AWG wire, and the FWC Series for foil or film laminates measuring 0.010 to 0.040 inches with 16–22 AWG wire. Both series are available in brass or tinned high-brass materials and are supplied in strip form to support automated, high-volume production.
