Vishay’s S2F and S3F thin film chip fuses provide fast and very fast acting overcurrent protection for compact electronic designs. Available in 0402, 0603, and 1206 case sizes, the fuses support rated currents from 0.315A to 7A and comply with UL 248-14. The S2F series is designed to open in less than one minute at 200% overload, while the S3F series opens in less than five seconds, allowing designers to tailor protection speed to application requirements. Both series feature low resistance, body temperature rise below 75°C at rated current, and are lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS-compliant, supporting reliable secondary circuit protection across a wide range of electronic systems.
