SHANGHAI – Altium says it intends to relocate its global headquarters from Sydney to its existing Shanghai office, including software development activities, corporate office and executive management team. The move is not expected to have a material effect on profitability in the current financial year, and is expected to occur mostly during the later part of the fourth quarter and early 2012.

MANSFIELD, TX – Mouser Electronics has partnered with Altium to link Altium Designer and Mouser’s extensive part information, placing it onto the engineer’s desktop.

The new links are part of AltiumLive announced in March. AltiumLive and Altium Designer combine to help better manage data and deliver new content to speed product development.

Mouser’s website is updated daily and searches more than seven million products to locate more than 1.8 million orderable part numbers available for online purchase. 

No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed.
