WESTFORD, MA -- Zuken has set dates for its annual user group conferences in North America and Europe. The PCB CAD software provider will hold a total of seven events throughout the two regions in the first half of next year.

TOKYO -- Zuken reported September quarter revenue rose 5% year-over-year to ¥4.62 billion ($45.3 million), but higher SGA costs felled the company's net profits. For the period ended Sept. 30, sales were up 11.8% sequentially, while net income of ¥11 million ($107,748) reversed a loss of ¥109 million in the June quarter.

EL SEGUNDO, CA -- The combined hardware and manufacturing cost of Microsoft's new Xbox One amounts to $471, suggesting that Microsoft is subsidizing the cost of the video game console at the time of launch.
