HANGZHOU, CHINA – Chinese copper-clad laminate provider Wazam New Materials said it plans to invest up to $60 million to build a factory in Thailand.

The company said it will establish a project company in Nonthaburi, Thailand's Bang Kruai district to build the new CCL plant, which is pending approval from Chinese and Thai regulatory authorities.

Wazam said the new plant will help the company establish an overseas supply capacity, better meet international demands and create an alternative channel to respond to the potential adverse impact brought by fluctuations in the macroeconomic environment and changes in global trade relations.
