ITASCA, ILM-Wave International said it would provide domestic electronic assembly services early in 2014 when it relocates to Glendale Heights, IL.

The new facility will more than double its space to 42,000 sq. ft., increasing local employment about 25%, the firm says.

MWI will create a division called M-Wave Electronics that will specialize in print-to-build small and moderate scale commercial and industrial electronic assembly. It will focus on current-carrying controls, monitoring instruments, testing gear, motorized equipment, specialized vehicles, and switching equipment.

M-Wave has manufactured circuit boards and circuit board assemblies solely in Asia since 2005.
