HONG KONG -- WKK Distribution has acquired global manufacturing, distribution and intellectual property rights covering certain Multiline Technology assets.

The deal includes the post-etch punch and fixed tooling products previously owned by Multline. WKK has put in place a new factory building inside the WKK Technology Park located in Dongguan, China, to accommodate the new production lines. The product lines include Multiline ATP, OPE and ECP post-etch punchers.

Multiline shuttered earlier this year. 

 WKK Distribution distributed Multiline products in Greater China and Southeast Asia for more than 30 years.

"We are pleased to have acquired the intellectual property and global distribution rights of these Multiline products," said Hamed El-Abd, president of WKK Distribution. "Through the acquisition, WKK can better serve its multinational customers with factories outside Greater China and Southeast Asia. WKK is now well-positioned to accept orders from international clients for these products, at which WKK has experience for so many years."
