FRANKFURT -- German printed circuit board fabricators reported April sales rose marginally over last year. 

The 90-day moving average revenues were up 0.3% year-over-year in April, but down 0.5% from March, the ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems trade group said.

The book-to-bill ratio climbed to 1.02, up 20 basis points from March.

Bookings rose 1.2% sequentially and 8.1% year-over-year, ZVEI added.

For the year, sales are down 1.3% from 2015, and bookings are off 0.2%.

The number of employees at German PCB fabricators has increased 1.4% versus April last year.
