SAN JOSE — The 90-day moving average orders among North America-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers was $1.22 billion, down slightly year-over-year but up from October, SEMI said.

The book-to-bill ratio was 1.02, meaning that $102 worth of orders were received for every $100 of product billed for the month. The upsurge reversed five months of falling numbers.

The three-month average worldwide bookings in November was up 10.4% from the revised October figure, and down 1.7% from November 2013.

The three-month average worldwide billings rose 0.5% from the revised October figures to $1.19 billion, and were up 6.8% over November 2013.

The SEMI book-to-bill is a ratio of three-month moving averages of worldwide bookings and billings for North American-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers. Billings and bookings figures are in millions of US dollars.
