MELVILLE, NY -- Park Electrochemical chief executive Brian Shore said the process of selling the company's laminate business is "going quite well".

On a the conference call with analysts this week, Shore said "We’re just not going to sell it if it’s not right, but the process is going well."

"We will do what is best for shareholders, our people, our customers and OEMs," he added.

The company had announced in January it would review strategic options related to the disposition of its electronics materials unit.

On the conference call, he added that the electronics unit revenue "should be up considerably" in the current quarter. "Let’s say [the March quarter] was $17.9 million. [The June quarter] should be up considerably from that number."
