ATLANTA, GA – UP Media Group Inc. today announced dates for its popular PCB2Day workshop series featuring Rick Hartley for fall 2017.

Two-day workshops on controlling noise, EMI and signal integrity in high-speed circuits and PCBs will take place in October in Quebec City and December in Melbourne, FL, respectively.

The workshops are “a crisp focus of the issues PCB designers and engineers need to know to prevent EMI, signal integrity, crosstalk and grounding problems in high-speed digital and mixed-signal designs,” says Hartley, a noted expert in signal integrity and noise control. “Knowing how to design circuits and PCBs to contain fields and to control the effects of high-speed devices is the key to successful design of low noise circuits.”

A world-renowned speaker, Hartley spent more than 40 years designing high-speed boards at L3 Avionics and BF Goodrich. He has completely updated the workshop over the past two years to ensure the most current material.

Events will be held October 26-27 in Quebec City, Canada, and December 5-6 in Melbourne, FL. For more information or to register, visit pcb2day.com.

PRINTED CIRCUIT DESIGN & FAB and CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY magazines are media partners for the event. The October event is hosted and sponsored by Olympus, and the December event is sponsored by DownStream Technologies.

UPDATE: Due to the weather in Florida, the Melbourne event has been rescheduled for Jan. 23-24, 2018.
